Pastor's Profile

In May 1980, Pastor Tyson Frey accepted a call to the pastorate of St. Thomas UCC in Bethlehem, PA. While at St. Thomas he served on the Bethlehem Council of Churches governing board and was active in the Penn Northeast Conference UCC. He was a General Synod delegate, Conference Nominating Committee chairperson, served actively on the Conference Board of Directors and worked on the Evangelism and Theology committees. 

Pastor Frey received a call to be Senior Pastor of Trinity UCC in Telford, PA in November 1988. At Trinity he served the Indian Valley Ministerium in all of the offices and volunteered as a chaplain at the local hospital. Within the life of the Penn Southeast Conference, he served in the area of evangelism, outdoor and retreat ministries and youth and young adult ministries. In addition he served as a General Synod delegate and as PA Southeast Conference Secretary. 

Currently Pastor Frey is also a member of the Lancaster Association Outreach Committee and serves on the Bethany Children’s Home Board of Managers. He enjoys playing tennis, golf and swimming. In addition he enjoys singing, reading, travel and family vacations with wife Cathy and their three children.
