Rev.
Kathryn L. Kuhn is our ordained associate pastor. Kathy started with us as our
Director of Christian Education during her time in seminary with 12 years of
prior experience as the Director of Christian Education at Salem UCC of
Rohrerstown.
Kathy's
focus is on our evangelism program. Evangelism can sound like a scary word to
people, but really, it just our slogan "Sharing Christ and His Love with All
People" in action. Kathy is also involved in the education, caring and mission
ministries of Church of the Apostles. Within the Lancaster Association of the
UCC, Kathy served for six years on the youth ministry committee which included
four years as chairperson.
In
addition to her church work, Kathryn worked in the field of child care for over
15 years which included founding Bright Start Academy, the child care in Salem’s
facility. Kathryn’s original training was as an elementary and preschool school
teacher.
Kathryn
is a married mother of three children. She and her husband, David, enjoy trips
to the beach and walking together.
