About Our Church Church of the
Apostles United Church of Christ was formed in 1975 by a merger between St.
Paul's UCC and St. John's UCC, two sister congregations in Lancaster, PA.
The two churches purchased an 84-acre farm from the Brubaker family and from
this vision, the Church of the Apostles emerged, giving birth to Homestead
Village and a campus filled with partners such as the Parish Resource Center,
the Schreiber Center, and the American Cancer Society. |

Who are We?
 |
We welcome you to join us on Sunday
mornings for inspiring worship and Christian education classes for all ages. We
offer both a blended worship service (at 9:15 A.M.) and a traditional worship
service (at 10:45 A.M.). During the worship services we hold Christian
educational classes for both adults and children. Nursery care is also
available throughout Sunday mornings. Communion is offered weekly at an
8:00 am service held in our Parlor. |
 |
Fellowship, music, education, service and
worship opportunities abound throughout the week. Through our ministries we
actively seek to share God's love with all people. We have a Senior Pastor, an
Associate Pastors and six commissions who lead our church and our ministries.
